Workflows, Nano Banana Pro, FLUX 2, and platform improvements.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Features

  • Layer Workflows have arrived (in private beta). Gone are the days of creating content 1by1, with Workflows you can now automate your entire content pipeline using an intuitive node-based system. Want to give it a try? Sign up to get early access.

  • Nano Banana Pro is here! We added Google Gemini 3 (AKA Nano Banana Pro) to Layer, including image generation and prompt edit models. Nano Banana Pro builds on the success of the original, offering even better realism and accurate scene composition - perfect for high fidelity UA and games content.

  • Even more templates for you to use. New templates have dropped using Nano Banana Pro, including best-in-class object removal, isometric view conversion, and extracting elements from a character for spine animation.

  • Flux 2 arrives in style. The latest image model from Flux is here, ready for you to start using it in your own generations. It joins its cousins Flux 1.1 [pro] Ultra and the perennially-popular Flux.1 Dev as key multi-use models for all your image generation needs.

Bugfix/Improvements

  • Added Last Frame functionality to the Kling Pro 2.5 video model.

  • Added new tooltip UI updates to model tagging and organization. Also added the ability to search styles by different tags.

  • Fixed a bug where Activity Feed filters were causing UI elements such as icons to disappear.

  • Fixed an issue with video aspect ratios when using the reframe feature on Layer, instead of reframing the original video was being changed.

  • Fixed a bug where reforging a generation with a reference image was breaking the image cropping tool.

  • Fixed an issue where uploading an external 3D model caused a server error and then subsequent fails when trying to run the forge.
