The Upscale node allows you to upscale your images from their input resolutions to a higher resolution. Upscalers may include settings to tweak the creativity or resemblance to the original image, or may not include those settings if they are intended to operate just as a simple upscaler. SeedVR2 is our recommended general-purpose upscaler, but you may pick other models that allow for more creativity or prompt adherence in your upscaling.
For downscaling or setting an image to a specific resolution, we recommend creating a Composition Node, setting the composition node to the specific resolution, and then feed the image into the Composition Node so that it fills the entirety of the node. This will allow you to set the specific aspect ratio and resolution of the file.
When trying to modify the creativity or resemblance of an image, you may want to switch to a different upscale model. For example, Topaz's Enhance model allows you to modify these parameters while SeedVR2 does not.
