Using the Object Selection Tool in Canvas

Select elements of your image inside Layer, make edits, and create new variations.

The Object Selection Tool allows you to click and select individual assets within your canvas for targeted AI modifications. This is a great way to isolate objects and regenerate or enhance them while keeping the rest of your artwork untouched.

How to Use the Object Selection Tool

Select Objects
​Click the Object Selection icon in the Canvas toolbar. Left-click on any asset to select it. To select multiple objects, hold Shift and Left Click on additional elements.

Choose a Style
​From the Style Selection panel, pick the same style used in the artwork, or choose a similar one to maintain consistency.

Write Your Prompt
​In the prompt box, describe the changes you’d like to make. For best results, enable the Auto-Enhancer — this will automatically enrich your prompt with helpful details.

Adjust Similarity
​Lower the Similarity setting to give the AI more creative freedom when generating your updated asset.

Forge in Selected Area
​Click Forge in Selected Area a few times to generate variations of the object based on your prompt and selection.

Once you're all done, just Apply Your Changes by clicking Accept to apply the new object to the same layer.

Or, use the dropdown next to Accept and choose Add to New Layer to preserve the original version while applying the update.
