Save a library view

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Save a set of library filters you check often as a named view, and get back to it in one click from the Asset Library or any file picker.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, click Asset Library.

  2. Set the filters and sort you want to keep, for example Generated under Filters and Image under Type. See Filter the asset library.

  3. Click Save as new view at the top of the rail (it appears once you change a filter). Type a name in View name, choose an icon beside it if you like, and click Save view.

  4. To see the whole library again, click the reset arrow beside Filters (Reset filters).

  5. Click the view's name at the top of the rail. Its filters and sort come back in one click.

Result

The view sits at the top of the rail, above Filters, in the Asset Library and in every file picker in the workspace. A view saves filters and sort, not the project: it applies inside whichever project the switcher at the top of the sidebar shows. Your views are yours; teammates do not see them.

Change a view

Hover a view to see its actions.

  • Update it. With the view selected, change a filter: a dot beside its name marks the unsaved change. Click the save icon (Update and the view's name) to keep it, or the reset arrow (Reset filters) to go back to the saved filters. To keep both, click Save as new view instead.
  • Rename it. Click the pencil (Edit and the view's name), change the name or icon, and click Update view.
  • Reorder it. Drag the handle at the right of the row.
  • Delete it. Click the bin (Delete and the view's name). The view goes at once, with no confirmation; the files it showed are not touched.

Production tips

  • Build views around routines. To review (Generated, sorted by Created), Approved key art (your approved label and Image), Low scores (Score on Poor), Our references (Uploaded and Image).
  • Built-in views by keyboard. On the Asset Library page, press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) and choose Switch to one of All items, Recently used, My favorites, My generations or My uploads. Your own views are listed there too.
  • Pickers keep up. A view saved for references (Uploaded, Image) is one click away the next time a tool asks you for a reference image.
  • Share filters with a link. Views are personal, but the filters are part of the page address. Copy the link from your browser to give a teammate the same filtered library, and they can save it as a view of their own.

If something goes wrong

  • There is no Save as new view. It appears only once the filters or sort differ from the view you are on. Change a filter first.
  • A teammate cannot see your view. Views are saved for you alone. Send them the page link instead.
  • You deleted a view by mistake. There is no undo. Set the filters again and save a new view.
  • A view shows fewer files than it used to. Check the project switcher: a view applies inside the project you are in.
