What's new in Layer
Last updated: October 10, 2026
We publish two changelogs: one for everyone who uses Layer, and one for developers building on the API.
Product changelog
layer.ai/changelog gets a new entry every week, newest first. Each entry covers new models, new features and tools in the app and the plugins, and improvements and fixes. Older entries are on the following pages.
API changelog
layer.ai/docs/changelog lists dated changes to the REST API: new versions and endpoints, breaking changes and deprecations.
