Find and reopen a session

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Find a session you worked in before and reopen it, with its board exactly as you left it. Use this when the session is no longer among the recent ones in the sidebar.

Steps

  1. Look under Sessions in the sidebar. Your most recent sessions are listed there; if yours is one of them, select it and you are done.

  2. Otherwise, select All next to Sessions. The full list opens, grouped by when each session was last worked in (Today, Yesterday, Older).

  3. Type part of the session's name in Search sessions to narrow the list.

  4. Select the session to open it. The board, the panel and everything on them are as you left them.

Result

The session opens on its board, ready to carry on: run another tool, ask the agent, or add to the board.

Production tips

  • Give sessions names you will search for: the asset or the deliverable, such as "Frozen keep key art". Right-click a session in the list and choose Rename, or rename it from its title at the top of the session.
  • Star the sessions you return to every day with the star on their row. Starred sessions stay in the sidebar however old they get.
  • Archive finished sessions (right-click, Archive) to keep the list short. They are not deleted: choose Archived under the filters to see them again.
  • Put a session in a project (right-click, Add to project…) so it shows up with the rest of that game's work. See Organize work into projects.
  • Looking for one asset rather than a session? Search the Asset Library instead. See Find your work in the library.

If something goes wrong

  • The session is not in the list. It may be archived. Choose All or Archived under the filters on the right of the list.
  • The list only shows some sessions. A project is selected in the switcher at the top of the sidebar, so the list shows that project's sessions. Switch to All projects.
  • Search finds nothing. Try a shorter part of the name, and check the Used within filter is not narrowing the list to a recent period.
