What dataset is Layer trained on?
Layer does not train any foundational models. Your uploaded content is never used in model training.
Do styles I train affect others’ styles?
No. Style trainings are completely isolated to your workspace and do not impact styles or models in other workspaces.

No other users can access your assets unless you choose to share them.
If you use a public style and choose to post your image to its page, only that specific image will appear publicly.
Do you limit the content that can be created on Layer?
Currently, there are no blanket restrictions. We handle content moderation requests on a case-by-case basis.
Does Layer provide transparency into actions on the platform?
Yes. We offer audit logs for your activity under Prompt History, including:
Date/time of generation
Model version
User who generated the content
Input prompts and parameters
All generated outputs
Can I export my prompt history?
This feature is in development and expected to launch in 2024.
As an agency, do I need proof of asset usage rights from clients?
No. As long as you have your client’s permission to use their assets, we don’t require formal proof.
