Find files by status

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Narrow the library or a session to the files at one point in your pipeline, such as everything waiting for review, and widen it to several statuses at once.

In the library

  1. In the sidebar, click Asset Library. The filters are in the rail on the right.

  2. Under Status, tick a status, for example In Review. The grid keeps only the files that hold it.

  3. Tick more statuses to see them together. The list holds the statuses your files carry, in pipeline order; the link under it (Show 1 more, or however many there are) brings out the rest, and the search icon finds one by name.

  4. To start over, click Reset filters beside Filters. The whole library comes back.

In a session

  1. Open the session, from Sessions in the sidebar or from Home.

  2. Click Add filter and choose Status.

  3. Tick a status, for example In Review. The board keeps only the files that hold it, and the filter shows as Status is In Review. Click Clear to see every file again.

Result

Only the files whose status you ticked stay in view; ticking several statuses keeps files that hold any of them. In the library the Status filter combines with every other filter, and it is part of the page address, so a link you copy opens the same filtered view for a teammate.

Production tips

  • Keep a review queue. Save the library filtered to In Review as a view, and open it at the start of each review. See Save a library view.
  • Find what is ready to hand off. Filter to Approved, select everything, and export it with Mark as Published so the files move on to Published.
  • Check the agent's results. In a session where the agent has worked, filter to In Review to see its results without the steps it took along the way, which it marks Intermediate.
  • Jump from the activity. In a file's activity, a status name links to the library filtered by that status.

If something goes wrong

  • There is no Status filter in the library. No file in the current view holds a status yet. Set one, and the filter appears.
  • A status is missing from the library's list. The list shows the statuses files hold; click Show more, or use the search icon. A status no file holds does not appear.
  • A file you expect is not there. Check the project switcher at the top of the sidebar: with a project chosen, you only see its files.
