Analyze your Chartboost campaigns in chat

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Connect your Chartboost advertiser account and ask the agent about your own user acquisition on Chartboost: spend, installs, impressions, clicks and their rates, by campaign, over time or by channel.

Before you start

  • A Layer admin connects Chartboost with your API Client ID and Client secret. You find them in Chartboost under Company info & settings, Access Management.
  • Once connected, anyone in the workspace who chats with the agent can ask about the account. The agent reads reports; it does not change anything in Chartboost.
  • Reports are for the advertiser side (your campaigns), not publisher monetization.

Steps

  1. Open the workspace menu, choose Workspace Settings, then select Connectors under Integrations.

  2. Under Advertising & UA, click Connect on Chartboost, paste the Client ID and Client secret, and click Connect Chartboost.

  3. Open a chat with the agent and ask, for example: "Which of my Chartboost campaigns spent the most last week, and what was their install rate?"

Result

The agent pulls Chartboost's campaign analytics grouped the way your question needs (by campaign, by date, by channel) and answers with the figures. Dates are in UTC.

What to ask

  • "Show weekly spend and installs for the last two months."
  • "How is my spend split between the network, the exchange and direct deals?"
  • "Compare iOS and Google Play installs for last month."

Production tips

  • Ask for all channels when you want the full picture. By default the agent reports on Chartboost's ad network. Say "across all campaign types" to include the exchange, direct deals and cross-promotion.
  • Per-creative numbers are not available. Chartboost's breakdown by creative, by app or by country is not available through this connector yet. Use the by-campaign and over-time views, and Chartboost's dashboard for creative-level detail.
  • Ask about several apps at once. Name them together in one question rather than one at a time.

If something goes wrong

  • A Chartboost client ID contains only the characters 0-9 and a-f. The pasted value has a space or a stray character. Copy it again from Access Management.
  • Chartboost didn't accept these credentials. Check that the ID and secret come from the same Chartboost company and that the credentials are still active.
  • The numbers are empty. The account may have only publisher activity in that period, or none at all. Check the date range and the campaign type.
