Catch up with your inbox

Last updated: October 11, 2026

The inbox collects what happened in your workspace while you were working: finished trainings, comments that mention you, new models and changes to your team. Check it to catch up, then archive what you have dealt with.

Steps

  1. Look at the bell at the top of the sidebar. A dot on it means you have unread notifications.

  2. Select the bell to open the Inbox. Notifications are grouped by day, newest first. Select one to open what it is about, or use its button, such as Open Session or Create Assets.

  3. Select Unread to see only what you haven't read yet.

  4. Hover over a notification you have dealt with and select the archive icon. If you archived the wrong one, undo it from the confirmation that appears.

  5. Select Mark all read once you have caught up.

  6. Select Inbox to see everything you haven't archived, read or not. Archived notifications are under Archived.

Result

Read notifications stay in Inbox without the unread marker, and archived ones move to Archived. The dot on the bell clears when nothing is left unread.

Production tips

  • Work through the list from the keyboard: J and K (or the arrow keys) move between notifications, Enter opens one, E archives it, R marks it read or unread and # deletes it.
  • Keep Inbox for what still needs you: archive a notification once the work is done, and what is left is your to-do list.
  • Choose what reaches you by email or Slack with Email preferences and Slack preferences at the top of the inbox. Slack appears once an admin has connected your workspace to Slack.
  • Hover over a notification and use the envelope icon to mark it unread again when you want to come back to it.

If something goes wrong

  • The inbox says "Failed to load notifications." Reload the page. If it keeps failing, contact support.
  • You expected a notification that isn't there. Check Archived, then your notification preferences: a notification you turned off for in-app delivery never reaches the inbox.
  • The dot stays on the bell. Something is still unread. Select Unread to find it.
