Find and run a workflow
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Run a workflow your studio has already built: find it, fill in its inputs and start it, so a multi-step pipeline runs the same way every time without rebuilding it.
Before you start
- Opening a workflow starts a new session for it, so you do not need a session open first.
- Each run costs Creative Units. The Run workflow button shows the cost before you start.
Steps
Open Workflows from the sidebar. It shows the workflows in your workspace as tiles.
Type part of the workflow's name in the search box at the top right. The grid narrows as you type.
Hover the workflow's tile and click the arrow on it (Open workflow). The workflow opens on a canvas in a new session, with its steps laid out as connected nodes.
Click Run at the top right of the canvas. Under Set up run, fill in each input the workflow asks for, for example Prompt.
Click Run workflow. The Run button changes to Running, and a Stop button appears beside it while the run works through its steps.
Result
When the run finishes, its outputs are listed under Runs and outputs at the bottom of the canvas, grouped by run. From there you can view them, download them, add them to the current session, or start a reference set from them.
Production tips
- Change one input at a time. In Runs and outputs, use Reuse this run's inputs for a new run on a run you liked. The run form opens with the same inputs, so you change only what you are testing.
- Batch variants as separate runs. Run the same workflow once per ability, character or season. Each run keeps its own group of outputs, which makes it easy to review and download a set at a time.
- Stop a wrong run early. If you spot a typo in an input, click Stop rather than waiting. You cannot start another run of the workflow until the current one ends.
- Filter the list. Use Workspace and Featured, Public and Private, labels and Published only on the right of the Workflows page to find the right one in a large library.
- Star the ones you run often. Right-click a workflow's tile and choose Star. It appears under Starred in the sidebar, where one click opens it in a new session.
- Label and group a large library. Right-click a tile and choose Labels or Add / Remove from Projects. To act on several at once, ⌘-click (Ctrl-click on Windows) their tiles, then use Label selected or Add selected to project in the bar that appears.
- Write prompts for the whole pipeline. An input often feeds several steps. Describe the subject and the constraints that must hold through every step (style, background, framing), not only the first one.
- Export for the build. Select the outputs you want in Runs and outputs and download them together, rather than one file at a time.
If something goes wrong
- Run workflow is greyed out. Hover it to see why. Fill in the required inputs means an input is empty. If a run is still in progress, wait for it to end or stop it.
- The reason reads Add a node to run this workflow. The workflow has no steps yet. Ask its owner, or pick another workflow.
- You cannot find the workflow. Clear the search and set the filters back to All, and turn off Published only.
- You are out of Creative Units. The run will not start. Top up from your workspace's billing settings, or ask a workspace admin.
