Layer workspaces are highly customizable and designed to fit your needs. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions and their answers.
1. How do I rename my workspace?
To rename your workspace:
Go to General Settings.
Under Update Name, enter the new name in the field.
Click Submit.
Your workspace name will update immediately.
2. How do I change my workspace URL?
In Update URL, type your desired URL slug (e.g.,
demo
).Click Submit.
Note: Any existing links to the old workspace URL will no longer work.
3. How do I change the profile picture of my workspace?
Click on the profile picture icon in the Update Profile Picture section and upload a new image.
4. What is the Workspace ID, and can I change it?
The Workspace ID is a unique identifier for your workspace.
It cannot be changed, but you can copy it using the copy button.
5. How do I set generation modalities (Image, Video, 3D, Audio)?
Under Set Generation Modalities, select the modalities you want to enable.
Click Submit.
Your team will then be able to generate content in the selected formats.
6. How do I configure default training base models?
Choose one or more models from the Configure Default Training Base Models section (e.g., Flux, SDXL, Bria 2.3).
Click Submit to save.
7. How do I add or manage custom base models?
Click + Add Model under Manage Custom Base Models to upload and manage your own models.
8. Can I import or export styles between workspaces?
Importing styles: Toggle Style importing is allowed on/off.
Exporting styles: Toggle Style exporting is allowed on/off.
9. How do I control automatic import of new styles?
If New styles are automatically imported is enabled, new styles added by Layer will be available in your workspace automatically.
If disabled, you’ll need to manually import new styles.
10. Can I allow or block NSFW generations?
Yes. Use the toggle under Allow NSFW Generations to enable or disable NSFW content generation.
11. How do I delete a workspace?
At the bottom of the page, click Delete Workspace.
