Change your workspace's name, logo and URL
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Give your workspace the name, logo and web address your team knows it by, from its General settings. Do it when you set up a studio's workspace, or when a team or game is renamed.
Before you start
- You need a role that can manage workspace settings, such as Admin. Without it, the workspace's settings pages are not in your settings sidebar.
- Changing the URL breaks existing links and bookmarks to the workspace. Tell your team before you change it.
Steps
-
Open the workspace menu in the sidebar, choose Settings, then General under Workspace. It shows the workspace's Logo, Workspace ID, Workspace Name and Workspace URL.
-
To change the logo, hover over it, select the pencil and choose a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF image. A square image works best.
-
Type a new name in Workspace Name and select Update name. The name shows in the sidebar and the workspace switcher.
-
Type a new address in Workspace URL and select Change URL. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens; the field tells you if the address is not allowed.
-
Read the warning and select Change URL to confirm. The workspace opens at its new address.
Result
Everyone in the workspace sees the new name and logo in the sidebar and the workspace switcher. The workspace's web address uses the new URL, and links that used the old one no longer open it.
Other workspace settings
Everything else about the workspace has its own page in the settings sidebar:
People
Members, Groups and Roles: who is in the workspace and what they can do and spend. See Invite teammates and set their roles.
Security
Authentication for single sign-on and SCIM, and the Audit Log. See Set up single sign-on and Review your workspace's activity log.
AI Controls
Models, Input Guardrails, Output Scoring and Content Policy: which models the team can use and the rules its work is held to. See Choose which models your team can use.
Billing
Plan & Billing and Usage. See Manage your subscription and buy Creative Units.
Workspace
Labels for organising assets, Home Feed for the templates on the workspace's home, and Notices for announcements shown to every member. See Label your assets and filter by label.
Integrations
Connectors, Slack and Service Accounts. See Connect a service to your workspace.
Production tips
- Name it for the team, not the person. A studio or game name ages better than an individual's, and keeps the workspace recognisable in the switcher for people who belong to several.
- Pick the URL early. Set it before you share links to sessions, workflows or boards, since a later change breaks every one of them.
- Copy the Workspace ID for automation. API calls, the audit log export and support requests identify the workspace by its ID; copy it from General with its copy button.
- One studio, several teams? Use a parent workspace with a child workspace per team or brand rather than renaming one workspace back and forth. See Parent and child workspaces.
If something goes wrong
- You cannot see General. Your role does not include workspace settings. Ask a workspace admin.
- Change URL stays greyed out. The address is unchanged, too short or too long, uses characters other than lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, or is a reserved name. The message under the field says which.
- The logo does not upload. Use a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF image under the size limit the error message gives.
- Teammates' links stopped working. The workspace URL changed. Share the new address, or change the URL back.
